Those who have questions, added in the email notification for the end user is responsible for making the final decision to rule out or accept the message.

The filtering process takes place in 5 phases:

FIRST PHASE: Receiving emails
This first stage aims to assign to the spam filter QUITASPAM as receiver of the email we receive the client company. This will be in charge of the first analysis and filtering of all unwanted e-mails.

PHASE TWO: Analysis of the nature of the message
QUITASPAM using different sources of information to evaluate each particular message and assign a numerical score in the end will decide if it is considered spam, possible spam or email you want. There are two types of information sources:

Blacklists: They are records of issuers of junk e-mail more common. These databases are made analyzers Internet, which is updated continuously.

Bayesian filtering: statistical software that calculates the probability that an email is spam based on words contained in the message. It is very reliable because it records all the words in the messages and relates the amount of times they have appeared in spam emails. It also assesses and analyzes the links and images that contains the message.

THIRD PHASE: Valuation analysis
This phase consists of evaluating the results obtained by filtering, queries made to the blacklists and Bayesian filtering to make a decision.

In the event that the filter considers as unwanted mail, and automatically drop it into the database QUITASPAM with the purpose of periodic reports on the amount of spam and viruses received by domain.

Conversely, if QUITASPAM believes that mail is desired, it shall send to the email server of the company.

FOURTH STAGE: Sending mail to the customer desired
Sending messages to the desired server’s email client.

FIFTH PHASE: Receiving emails of the end user.
Finally, employees will receive only the mail you want.
