As a follower (commonly also called tags) are vehicles that have generally do not have their own drive and behind a towing vehicle - such as Car Trailer, truck or bike (see bike trailer) - to be carried. Rail-followers are called wagons or Lore.
Trailer transfer the load, primarily through the wheels on the road, down to the - for single-axle trailers - on the towing vehicle so-called oppressive load. The tensile forces are transmitted via the so-called pole by tractor to the trailer. A trailer hitch is the connection between the towing vehicle and a trailer or the connection between the supporters when multiple tags are attached to the towing vehicle.
