Homestead Village Management LLC, an extended-stay hotel company, has chosen Corio Inc. to manage its human-resource and financial systems on an outsourced basis.?
Corio will manage Homestead's application through the Corio Full Service delivery model, which includes infrastructure and application-management services for a fixed monthly fee.
Homestead, recently acquired by private investment bank The Blackstone Group, is required to re-deploy HR and financial systems from its former parent and build independent IT capabilities. The systems to be managed by Corio handle hotel back office data for the company's 111 properties and 17,000 rooms in the United States. Property-management offices use the Web-based systems to submit invoices, enter time worked, and transmit new-hire information.
Corio will use its FastLane methodology to upgrade Homestead's human-resources system and to move
both human resources and financials to a new platform at Corio data centers.
