“So”, I didn’t hear you say, why this blog? The simple answer is, who cares!
That’s right, another blog that takes itself about as seriously as democracy on the moon!
At the moment, apart from creating blogs that, as yet, have no real focus or direction, I (we) am working on creating a general information site for my new addiction Lord of the Rings Online as, so far, I haven’t see anything worth while for it. Without trying to re-create the work of others, I (we) am (are) looking for something like thottbot or wowhead or Allahkahowdaspellit does for World of Warcraft. Of course, as there are no mods, you’ll not get all the lovely maps and statistics and such. However, we’ll hopefully have some answers to questions.

So, I use SpamSentry to block just about all Gold Spam on WoW – It also allows me to report the spammer and even the bots out there farming the gold for sale. However, I think I need to start writing down the list of URL’s so we can start looking into who owns them, so we can, politely of course, ask them to refrain.
The bonus is, we’ll be using publicly available information, so sharing it with others who, hopefully also politely, wish to ask these individuals to refrain from spamming them, can do so as well.
Of course, we ask that any information used isn’t abused, that you don’t start writing hate emails or other such silly things as it just lets the side down really.
